I was thinking this morning that there are so many things that upset me and they're so upsetting that I have hard time getting over them. So for as long as I can keep it up, I'm going start posting "Happy Things"-- things that cheer up or things I just really like.
Inspired by the release of New Zealand fragrance by Demeter (inspired by Lord of the Rings) here are happy smells:
Escada's Ibiza Hippie
Jessica McClintock, fragrance
pine and cinnamon
tea and honey
I think I might head to the bookstore today... because I feel compelled by the massive amounts of shopping happening today.
Thanksgiving at my aunt's house was fun. It was the land of small children. There were so many small children that my brother I and actually sat at the ADULTS' TABLE! Another added advantage of the high population of small children was the increased entertainment. My toddler cousin Brendon danced around and was generally incredibly cute. Kristy was a case study in any-attention-is-good-attention. And these three sisters (friends of my aunt and uncle) could sing Dancing Queen like mini-ABBA. They were way too good. I also got to see my tiny Chihuahua, Happy. She's so cute! I haven't seen her in a while since we gave her to my aunt. I ate plently of food despite there not being anything specially non-meat for me. The pumpkin pie was awesome. So all in all I had a great Thankgiving, far better than expepcted and no family arguements! Amazing.
Note to self: Devin takes a long a$$ time to make a decision.
I've been feeling quite emotional lately.
Case in point:
I cried during the finale of "Joe Millionaire." I'm so pathetic. But seriously, people this was good reality television. David and Linda are both way to attractive for their own good, especially cowboy David. Yeeeehawwwww!!!
I'm feeling down so just a couple links for today.
iPod's Dirty Secret
Life of Jonah: What happens when a guy gets left by his girlfriend whom he is living with, but she wont move out
'Family Guy' may return
As part of research for a school project I went to the Korean supermarket in Santa Clara today to pick up foods I ate as a child. I also got this:

It's pollack and squid flavored. Mmm, tasty.
Well, I've accomplished only two things I wanted to get done today: wake up before 11:00 AM (I got up at 8:30) and go to the grocery store. Other than that I did nothing, absolutely nothing. My ideal day would be to do nothing... even though it stresses me out because there are a million things I should be doing. I Wasted the whole day.
From Office Space
Peter Gibbons: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man, two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I had a million dollars I could hook that up, cause chicks dig a dude with money.
Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well the kind of chicks that'd double up on me do.
Peter Gibbons: Good point.
Lawrence: What about you, what would you do?
Peter Gibbons: Besides two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Well yeah.
Peter Gibbons: Nothing.
Lawrence: Nothing, huh?
Peter Gibbons: I'd relax, sit on my ass all day, I would do nothing.
Lawrence: Well you don't need a million dollars to do nothing, man. Just take a look at my cousin, he's broke, don't do shit.
I tried to sign on to AOL's Instant Messenger, but, oh ho, what happens? I get this message that says "that account has been suspended and is not currently valid." WTF?!?!? I wish I could have ha some warning or something so that I could retrive my buddylist. Argghhh... Now I have to try to remember everyone's screen name... with your weird spellings and numbers at the end... grrr...
Oh, so my new screen is just like my old one except the end is spelled "shoo" not "shu." Big change, huh? haha :)

It's good to know that being cutesy is in no way emasculating.
A single sentence will suffice for modern man: he fornicated and read the papers.
So there's a new six degrees of separation type site I found called The Impersonals. The site is much better designed and faster than Friendster but it's pretty much the same thing-- a dating site disguised as a platonic social network. Apparently it has not caught on yet because I searched for people 20-30 years old in San Francisco and only got 8 people. Be cooler than everyone else and sign up now before it becomes as lame and evil as Friendster.
Colin and his roommate's Soviet themed party last night was fun. I finally met some former Gamers.com people I had heard a lot about-- Terrence (host of notorious Gamers parties) and Justin (writer of links.net and overall fascinating guy). Everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves. I drank quite a bit of vodka and had a roasty toasty time with no hangover! I hope Mike got home alright... Devin and I left with Justin leaving Mike behind with his friend. Mike called Devin in the middle of the night. I'm not entirely sure what that was about... something about someone disappearing? Ah, well. The adventures of party goers.
This morning Devin suddenly commented that The Strokes' new album is full of Tchaikovsky licks-- more specifically, from the Nutcracker. Uh... k... Sugar Plum Fairy="Meet Me in the Bathroom"???
I'm going out to Colin's party this evening.
My moveable type blog is in now in action...
and I have nothing to say... uh.... yeah...
